Eric,

My site is on ReadyHosting. I got my forum up and running a couple days ago and experienced no problems at first. But I got up this morning and found that my forum mysteriously no longer displays ("This page cannot be found"). But the rest of my site is fine. Do you think this is a glitch with ReadyHosting? Here's my site:

mine is on Ready Hosting as well. I did find that depending on the server, you need to set up a system DSN in the control panel and have your DB in the Database folder.

if you need help email me at firewall@datatechgroup.org

I am also on Readyhosting, and if you have a "write" directory like cgi-bin you can put your db theere without DSN, and it should work on all their servers, according tot the tech I was working with. The directory "database" which is at peer level with your site directory "html" is already setup for "write", and you can us that. If you have a problem with the absolute path, Readyhosting publishs the absolute path for the site in their help. You could also run the "whereami.asp" from "database" or "cig-bin" and it would give you the complete absolute path. I have seen various problems with the virtual path connection and do not use it, and I would like to stay away from DSN. Hope this helps!
