1. You need to make sure "Private Forums" are enabled in your admin options. When logged in as admin, on the default.asp page you will see this icon beside each form and category. You can only set passwords for forums, not categories. Click on the icon beside the forum you want to password protect. Set the "Auth Type" to Password Protected.
2. There is a mod to do that. If you do a search in the MOD Add-On Forum (w/code) forum, for "order category" you will find it.
3. You will need to have to setup the email settings on your forum to enable that feature.
