HELP! I've downloaded and followed the setup instructions but still don't have it working.

I tried logging on as admin is mentioned, but I don't know how to get there. Another post metioned your domain name, but I don't know what it would be in my case as I'm using PWS.

I don't know if I've ever gotten PWS working right either as so far as I know as its never run an ASP page.

I'm using an NT 4.0 box on an intranet.

Thanks,

JDB

PWS is designed for W9x computers. Do you mean Peer Web Services included with NT4 workstation? If you have NT4 Server use the included IIS. Update any of these servers to v4 using the NT Option Pack.

Use http://localhost or http:/;/127.0.0.1 to access your local web server. Make sure your local web server is working and processing asp before you worry about Snitz code.

Doug,

By PWS I mean Personal Web Server. Doesn't it run on NT 4.0? I did install the option pack once, but don't recall anything about IIS. There is a folder on the Network that has IIS 4.0, but I don't know how to install it or run it.

If I were to get IIS 4.0 would you recommend removing PWS? I got to something yesterday that told me PWS was running.

Thanks for the other info. I'll go try it and see what happens.
