I have been recieving a lot of complaints that people are being forced to re-login every time they visit my forum (can be viewed at http://www.cofr.net/cofrbbs).
Originally I was telling people it was on their end, but I'm getting an awful lot of complaints about it now. I personally cannot reproduce the problem.
Has anyone else run into this? Any suggestions, other than clearing cookies and trying again (which has not worked)?
(First off, that reset fields button is way too **** easy to hit. typing reply again)
I am having the same or similar problem here. A user logs in and has no problems. Login the next day, gets the "login successful" screen, and then after the refresh the user is no longer logged in. It is an intermitent problem that is not cookie related. Logs in the next day no problem.
Anyone else having this problem? I am having one of our DBA's look into it now but the more info we can get our hands on the better. anyone fixed this problem? Is it a SQL server tuning or IIS tuning issue? thanks!
I cannot log in anymore from my computer because it refreshes the screen and shows that I must log in again even though it said my log in was successful. This happened once and it seemed to disappear but now it has returned. I can no longer administer anything on the page because of this. I have no idea what the problem could be.
I'm using Access as the database. If anyone knows how to solve this, it would be great.
Also, other users on other computers cannot logout. It says they've logged out but it refreshes back to the main page and shows they're still logged in and all everything functions as if they were still logged in.
