I mean I have set in the Admin Section to use NT Auth for Authorization Type. I removed anon users for the site and can get to the site as admin (I am the Network Admin) but when I try to login as a regular domain user it prompts me for username/password and not matter what user I put in, barring admin, I can not get into the forum.
I have read all the post here and it is still not clear to me where I place the group that I want to have access.
Thanks, Lozz123

Have you set the NT auto logon feature to on ? This may help with the registration.
As for the NT Groups, my understanding is that they are activated in conjuction with the private forum feature in the main features section. You can then specify which level of access you users / groups require to enter each forum.
Hope this helps.

Ok I have found where the groups go and its not where I would have thought it would be. Groups, AutoLogon are on so I am not sure what’s up. I am still having an issue with not being able to get into the site as a domain user. My ACL's on the forum directory is system,admin,domain_users, this enough permission for a web session to get through? Now correct me if I am wrong, the IUSR account is not active on the forum directory and WinNT Auth is from with in the IIS manager?
One other thing, what groups are we using? domain global or local system. I think that domain is what I read but I am not 100% on that. And I know that the groups are case sensitive but do we have to add the domain/group?
