I installed the MOD by following the installation instruction, the icon is visible , the pop_upload.asp opens in a new window , I can search my local drives to chose the file I will upload.

After pressing the submit button the following message appears in the pop_upwindow: 500 HTTP Internal Server..the Site you have requested....(bla,bla)

No new folder appears in the "uploaded" folder in the forum-base-folder. The rights on this folder are set correctly (i think).

What else can I do???

By the way... there is an ~upload-folder in the root of the server ... can i change the forum-mod to use this folder? (it is the "normal" upload-directory provided by my isp

Thanks for your help

firstly, open IE and select Tools|Internet Options from the menu.
Select the advanced tab, and scroll down the list untill you find an option called "Show freindly http error messages", unselect the option, apply the settings and retry the upload, what error do you get now?

I have installed the forum and uploadMOD on other server (websamba) and everything works fine.

could it be a server configuration problem (see my first post)?

can I change the to the forum-mod to use the "~upload"-folder (instead of "uploaded"-folder) which is default upload folder on this server?

Probably you are not allowed to use the filesystemobject. Your provider did this for security reasons.
