Hello,
I have downloaded Snitz Forum and got it up and running in a few minutes. I can log in as Admin and do all those admin things, like change color, and path and stuff. When I go to add or edit forums on the home page I get this error.
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a03f6'
Expected 'End'
No line numbers, no nothing. Anyone else have this problem?
---- It also happens when you try topost messages. This error comes up when alot of functions are tried. I just downloaded this version of the forums yesterday. Any idea where the END is expected?

I have been looking through POST.ASP and I think I found where there is a missing end if... Line 572?? When I added it that error was fixed but another one comes up...
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0400'
Expected statement
/CustomerCareU/forum/inc_footer.asp, line 47
Not sure if I am even headed in the right direction...

Anyone else have this problem? I just downloaded it yesterday, so someone obviously has to have had this problem.

I am not getting much feedback here, one way or the other. I see that many people have gotten this board to work, I am having major problems getting up and going. There seems to be bugs everywhere, and in bugs I mean non functional bugs. What did you guys do?
When you set up your board from scratch, did the post function work? Were you immediately able to edit boards? I cannot, I get the above error. Maybe someone can send me their files so I can use a working version of the files.

Just a thought, are you on a Frontpage Web server and did you rename or move any of the Snitz files around after you uploaded them? (other than the .mdb file).

I am putting them on a company intranet server running IIS. I used the original files from the current version download, all I did was edit the config.asp file as per what the instructions said.
One thing I find interesting is I did the exact same thing at home, (running win98 and PWS), and it worked PERFECTLY!!! Very strange, I did the exact same thing as I did at work, just two different Web Servers... I believe the version of IIS is 5, but I am not sure.
Does this help at all?
