OK, I have two websites at my ISP. I'm trying to set up forums in both of them. I got the first one working with the access 97 setup and the database that comes with Snitz. Now I set up the second one, and I get "Mocrosoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'" Operation must us an updateable query /forum/inc_functions.asp, line 644 error

I'm trying to check with my ISP to make sure the direcory on my second site (www.kdrtau.org\forum) is set up the same as the permissions on my first site (www.carlklemmer.com\forum). Is this a permission problem, or some other issue?

It is a permissions problem as you suspect.

Make sure the ISP checks the permissions on the folder where the database resides. That is where the permission problem is specifically. Have them also check the permissions on the database itself...

That was it! And here I thought it was something weird. My ISP just messed up one of my accounts...
