If you downloaded the forum, the .mdb file inside it is Access 97. You can use it, just use the first connection string.

PS: You don't have any files inside your web, or no default file (index.htm, default.asp etc). Your forums directory seems to be also empty.

It is preffered to use the Access 2000 string first. Just because it says Access 2000 doesn't mean you need an Access 2000 version of the database. The Access 2000 connection string uses a newer version of the Jet drivers, which i would think comes with Access 2000 software when you install it. But if you don't have Access 2000, you can download the newer Jet drivers from the Microsoft site.

If using the Access 2000 connection string doesn't work, you can try the Access 97 connection string, which uses the older version of the Jet drivers.

Go here http://forum.snitz.com/archive/default.asp?catid=11&cattitle=Forum+Setup+Tools and download the "Where Am I?" tool. Upload the file to folder your database is in and then go to it using your browser. It will tell you the path you will use in your config.asp file.
