SalmanKhana,

Try setting the Home URL in Admin Options --> Main Forum Configuration to:

http://www21.brinkster.com/desifun/

What are you trying to add to the Portal? Which MOD?

well well ... now i used a fresh copy of snitz forum and updated it and then added portal to it..... everything seems fine. i guess there is no problem with portal but there is problem with this little piece of code that is there in most MOD implementations :=

<td align="center" bgcolor="<%=strForumFirstCellColor%>"><font face="<%=strDefaultFontFace%>" size="<%=strHeaderFontSize%>" color="<%=strForumFontColor%>"><a href="javascript: openWindow3('<%=strForumURL%>include/editcategory.asp?addsub=true&category=<%=Request.QueryString("catid")%>')">A d d  N e w   C a t e g o r y</a></font></td>

now the problem is that i moved my account from brinkster to my domain ( www.desihome.org/testforum ) and after moving it, this piece of code still access and tries the old database and when it does not find that file, it gives errors. I guess the real problem is in ('<%=strForumURL%> !!

any suggestions where the problem might be. it is really bugging me.. tomorrow i have 3 classes of long summer skool but this does not even let me sleep !! worries . help out plz...

does anyone know how you make the portal span the width of the page, at the minute its only taking up about 2/3...

dude stuF , dont u remember i told you that profile thing shows u weird shapes ? i saw that on my portal too ( thanx again Richard for making one for me ). Whenever I try to modify my own profile and click on that small pencil icon, it asks me for admin password saying " ONly Adminstrator can modify a member " and when i click OK after entering the password, it shows this error

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e10'

No value given for one or more required parameters.

/content/pop_profile.asp, line 796

any suggestions ?
