I'm having problems getting the IP ban to work...I thought I done everything right, but when I try and load the forum it says the database needs to be upgraded...I noticed that the dropdown list of databases dosent include service release 4,could this be the problem?
I tried to fix the problem my self all morning, but I'm afraid I'm lost on this one...
Can someone help me out?

Anyone know?
I clicked the link that says 'click to upgrade' but when I try and get on my forum it sends me back to the 'database needs to be upgraded area'...Some how I was able to get on my forum a time or two and it's totally screwed up,the background is now white, links are missing and it almost looks like one of the files the forum comes with...lol...
Can Someone help?

Don't know what to say to help you, might help if you provided a link to the site so we could have a look...but once you start installing mods it often makes it hard(er) for us to help...

If you added the ban ip code to your forum files before installing the database fields, it is gonna tell you the database needs to be upgraded.
Comment out all the ban ip code in the config.asp file, by putting a ' in front of the lines, then install the database fields, then un-comment the code in the config.asp file.
