Hi

I have opened every post in this forum to see if I could piece together how NT Groups are setup. I am maybe a bit slow but have not figured it out.

What does the feature do (more granular security I presume)?

Where do I make admin changes to set it up?

(fyi I am using NT auth for the 3 company domains at the moment)

Hope I am asking this in the right place. If there is documentation or a readme that I missed please point me to it.

I may have misunderstood you question, but ...

My understanding of the NT groups options is that it will allow you to select NT groups when you set up member lists for member only forums.

Having said that, I haven't been able to get NT groups or NT autologin (or member lists for that matter) working on my site as yet, so I wish you luck.

thanks, that makes sense. I have not created any member-only forums; so that is why I probably did not see the need for feature.

FYI I found NTAuth was easy to setup once I had installed ADSI from the microsoft site and selected challenge/response (only) in IIS.

On a different note, I am having plenty of problems across domains (where users get a GetObject error); and would like to be able to revert them back to a manual DB logon when NTAuth fails. But that seems to be impossible.
