Hey all,

I apologise if this has been asked elsewhere.

I am loving Snitz. It's awesome ... so far I have managed to add polls, messaging, and remove the MEMBERS link from the include_top file .... so I am quite chuffed with myself as I had never heard of ASP last week!

Anyway - I would like to change the registration options to include "Club name" as a mandatory field.

I had a hunt around the site for an answer, but can't work it out.

Is there a way to do this? What files do I need to change? I tried doing it myself but screwed the whole thing and had to re-upload my backup files.

Thanks for your help ...

I worked it out!

I noticed a heap of people looked at this and obviously have the same challenge ahead of them.

What I did isn't perfect - bit of a band aid - but by changing the HTML in the inc_profile pop_profile and register.asp I changed the headings for City to what I wanted and it seems to be working. The new "Club" field is still identified by City, but people looking don't see that value - just the CLUB field.

I know this isn't perfect,

Sorry to reply after you found a fix, but did you take a look at this: /link.asp?TOPIC_ID=6171 ?

or you could download HuwR's "User Fields" MOD and add as many extra fields as you like
