I could find any mention of this type of mod on the board. Based on ranking the users colour would change (like the ubb mod) Anyone know how it could be done?

I didn't do it based on ranking because I wanted to see how the idea would look so I put it on everyone's name. I need to streamline the code but for now take a look here:
glowing names
I am not sure if I am going to use this idea for names but more HOT TOPICS, less load on the browser that way plus that is the only useful thing I feel like I can use it for.
I will make a mod based on this eventually but give me some feedback if you don't mind.

yeah, I will make a mod for this soon, but in the meantime, the above link does not work because I accidentally overwrote the code, easy to replace though, I just want to perfect it.
for anyone that did not see it, the member names had an illuminating red radiating and pulsing around there name subtle enough to not be annoying. you can make it any color you want and all I did was implement code I found here:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex10/pulsetext.htm
I am going to use this for HOT topics I think....

I should have and thought I mentioned that but thanks. TRUE, but if you have been reading the headlines lately, looks like Netscape is going to throw in the towel on browser technology. Another thing is my logs show that a very small percentage of visitors use Netscape. IE takes the lead with over 80% and then there is Opera and some others. For some more info on Web Browser hits on my site, feel free to check out:
