any reported issues? I tried the beta IE6 on Win2K Pro and when I logged in I received a successful logon message but my name would not store. I cleared out all cookies and tried again to no avail. no matter what I did I could not remain logged in.

I uninstalled IE6 and things are back to normal (working that is)

I use IE6 beta at home and have been for quite awhile now. I have had no problems at all. Did you check the cookie settings in IE6 beta? There were some new options I believe. When I get home, I'll check. I think there was something I had to change.

2 things to check if you decide to install IE6 beta again.

On the Privacy tab of the Internet Explorer settings, I have mine set to Low.

Also in the Security tab on whatever level you have check under Miscellaneous and see what is set for User Persistence.

I had this same problem. I changed the cookie configuration to website, then it would keep my login. However, changing it back to forum did not make the problem reappear. So I cannot be sure that my change fixed the problem or if it was just coincidence.

I use IE6 Beta on Win 2K, and I've had no problems with any of the Snitz forums I visit. Although now that I've said that...
