I have a database of users (Access) that I'm going to import into my Snitz forum members database. What I need to do now is disable the new member registration process. Basically get rid of the link at the top that says "Register," as well as the registration page. I tried looking at the default.asp code and couldn't find the link (viewing forum then viewing the source allowed me to find the link, but when I went to edit it in notepad, something different showed up for default.asp?), so would editing the Agreement page to something like "You can't register to this forum" be better?
Also, I already disabled the viewing of the member list when a non-member clicks it, is there a way to disable viewing the profile of the person who last posted? A non-member can currently view the board and if someone has replied to a forum, they can click on that persons name and view their profile. I want to disable this.
