Hey I've downloaded this forum software. I dont think I have SQL or Access 'server'. I've put the files on my website but this asp files wont work.

The Installation procedures with the softwares are not that helpful. :(

can anyone help me out by telling step by step what to do to make my forum running?

you know what.

whenever I click on any .ASP file on my website, it shows a window with the options to download that file or open it from the same location.

this thing is not working guyz.. help me out plz

it looks like your server does not support ASP, do you know what type of server you are trying to run it on?

thanx for the reply dude.

I have linux in my PC but i am still new to it that Redhat.

These files I uploaded them to tripod homepage of mine and then i tried to work. but its giving me a hard time..

can u please help me out of this problem.

Tripod does not support ASP.

Try Brinkster ( http://www.brinkster.com ). They support ASP for free.

do a search for installing on brinkster, there should be alot of topics that will be of some assistance.
