I'm trying to move over to Snitz from UBB and I've tried applying the import.asp scripts that I found here but I haven't managed to get either of them to work. If anyone has already done this I could use some help.

Thanks

Tek

Hi brisolis

I'm not even getting that far. Which version of import.asp are you using? Maybe if we put our heads together we can figure this out.

I've been trying to use Nam Trung's version but can't work out how to configure the directory references. Is that the one you're using?

brisolis,

I've made a lot of progress. I've managed to import a user base of just under 8000 with no problems. Like you I found that the script would stop but then I checked where it was falling over and discovered that it fell over under 2 conditions. Some of my user records were 0kb's and some were corrupted. Once I removed those files from the memberlist.cgi or replaced them with backups the script worked like a dream.

Send me an e-mail if you need any help,

Best Wishes

Tek
