Im doing this avatar mod and I get this error reading:
Notepad
Not enough memory tavailable to complete this operation. Quit one or more applications to increase available memory, and then try again.
I may be new to computers and all but I know I have plenty of memory to complete this operation. What am I doing wrong?

It's a limitation of Notepad.

You'll need to use a different editor.

Here is what I use: http://plaza.v-wave.com/mark/products/araneae.html

I use Dreamweaver 4 to create my site, could I use Dreamweaver 4 to edit the topic.asp file? And for that matter all snitz forums mods?

you can try it. But, make sure that it's not changing code on it's own, or formatting it a certain way. Frontpage has a habit of moving META Refresh tags and doing some other unruly things, not sure about Dreamweaver though.

Had the same problem - Notepad isn't able to do it, just use wordpad instead!
