I'm going to give myself a heart attack over this...Now th page shows up...but with th following message to give me...

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Operation must use an updateable query.

I'm gonna take a wild stab at this and say I hve to update something..what do I do

your database has to exist in a directory where the web server has "write" permissions....

If this still is on Brinkster (see your post here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/link.asp?TOPIC_ID=10237), then you didn't put the database in the db directory.

My database does exist in a directory with write permissions. I'm using Brinkster. I already shoved the snitz_forum_2000.mdb into the db folder, taken out the mark in the config file for the variable string I'm using and put in the path to my database. I don't know what else to do...

By the way, sorry about using more than one post for my question...
I know I'm probably getting annoying, but I'm just so confused right now...I've done everything I'm supposed to do and it still won't work.

email brinkster support and tell them to "fix" the database directory.....
( i have gone through this before with them )
