I'm pretty new to Snitz and mods in general so please forgive me if I ask the obvious, but it seems the poll only appears as part of a topic within a forum.
Is there a way to configure it to appear on the main (default.asp) page?

in the admin area you can set a feature for Feature Poll, this will show on the default page...

Thanks, and my apologies for writing this message here, meant to have it appear in the poll mod area. Just shows you how new I am to Snitz

Don't worry, a moderator will move it to the Help: MOD Implementation forum, if they ever read this message.
But as Davye said, you can turn on the "Featured Poll" option in the "Poll Configuration" section in the admin options. It will then show the poll on the default.asp page.

hi, i thought id post here rather than a new thread. The poll mod works fine in posts...but when i try to set one as an *active poll* in the poll config area, it has no effect, i copied the code properley checked, double checked, and uploaded the version oyu put in the zip, but it still wont show the polll in default.asp
any help would be appreciated!

When you go into the Poll Configuration, do you see one of the polls selected as an active poll?
Also do you have the "Show Featured Poll" option set to "On"?
If you say yes to those two, then there would be something in the way you added the code in the default.asp page. Post a link to a txt version of your default.asp file.
