Cool, thanks. When is the new version coming out (approx. date)? Also, when you upgrade, do you have to re-do everything or is it just sort of like a patch?

No date set yet, the new version looks stable, but we need to test it on 3 different database platforms and small errors are often hard to find.
Upgrading the database will be handled by the setup.asp script, so unless you customise the different asp pages a lot, upgrading should be easy: just copy the new asp-files over the old ones, run setup.asp once and have it upgrade the database, and you're ready. All posts, members and settings will stay in the database when upgrading.

ehm...of course...MODS you've added will have to be added to the script-pages again...but since the script doesn't delete field that have been added to the database by the MOD setupscripts, you won't loose data from them either.

Great, next question: how do I make myself an "administrator" in the forums? I mean, I have the admin position but when I post I don't get administrator ranking (with stars and all). What I'm saying is, how do I grant administrator status to myself (just the rank, I already have the access and I've registered with "Admin" as the username)? Help?

Login as admin, select admin options from upper right menu, select ranking configuration, then make the necessary custumization. There, you can call yourself whatever you want.

Weird, I rename myself to "Administrator" yet when I post it shows up as "Forum Admin" which is an option I haven't found anywhere. Furthermore, no stars show up. Do they just comes up as you make an XX number of posts or what?

Did you change the first option (Show Ranking) from "none" to anything else?
Oh I see... Go to members page, edit your profile, change you title ...

One more thing. If you delete the "title" from profile, then it gets the default from the ranks page...

Cool, thanks. Now about those stars, do they show up only when you have a certain amount of posts?

You can set that yourself in the Admin Options, default for the first star is 50 posts.
