Someone else at my forums who had admin priveledges inadvertantly set the main forum configuration from DB to NT, now everytime I try and login i find I cant change back to DB to correct the problem. I try logging in with my admin name and password by going directly to admin_login but when i attempt to change it I get the message that only admin can change the features.

I no longer have a logout button and the user is stuck on codeguru() so I cant login in a normal fashion to change the preferences back to the way they were.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
Whats the solution here anyone?

I'm not experienced in NT related code in Snitz but if you have access (FTP) to the database you can download it and change the code from the database. This may not directly solve the problem, because the contents of the config table is kept in application variables. So if it works, the setup will make them reload !

Hope this helps...

Same happened to me. I opened the database, opened table FORUM_CONFIG and set field C_STRAUTHTYPE from "nt" to "db".

Voila.

The only way to change it back is to manually edit your database and make the changes as RichardLyon mentioned.
