Search and delete any/all cookies related to that forum from the PC's cookie directory...

Richard K I know you are extremely busy but i am assuming this is a quick straight forward question, I have now messed around with my cookies for a few hours & im still no closer to accessing the admin options, my problem is the same as the 1st poster in this topic? How on earth do I stop it from looping round?

Pardon me for jumping in....
Typically this problem is fixed by (1) closing all browser windows, and then (2) deleting ALL cookies related to the problematic forum. Are you SURE you found all the correct cookies? (Can you log on from one PC but not another?)
Snitz Sessions are abandoned when the browser closes, period. The only other logon issue is cookie-related. The simplest way to be sure, is to delete ALL offline content and ALL cookies (if you need or want to keep some, then you will have to carefully examine cookies to find the ones at issue. Try searching your harddrive on "snitz" or "admin" or "forum"...)
You didn't do anything else did you? (rename the admin account, etc.)

Thank u for replying..... Initially set up forum on brinkster & all was fine i was able to get into the admin options & modify where needed, but then for some reason it wanted to loop me? I then set up the forum on 7.host.com & that works fine (need 2 get brinkster working as the pop ups annoy me on 7.host) I have deleted all cookies & can get into the 1st 2 admin options but everything else loops me back, im really stuck here, not being an expert on cookies doesnt help either ! lol
Havent had the chance to try it on another pc hopefully will do that later 2nite. But i really wanted it sorted for this pc.
Cheers again

Well, I suppose the issue is trying to figure out what's wrong (that's the reason for testing access from another PC...)
So, there are essentially 3 possiblities:
(1) file corruption during upload (of the admin_x.asp pages). Have you tried re-uploading them?
(2) file corruption during editing. Did you edit any of the asp pages in anyway? Did you add any additional features--Mods--to the base installation? Did you work with the files locally on your PC or edit them through Brinkster's online file editor? (Re-upload the original affected asp pages. Once the problem is resolved, you can retry your changes...)
(3) PC-based client issue (that affects logon/access to the website). Can you logon from elsewhere? Is the website accessible to others to logon for you (ask a trusted friend...)
Of course, some other factors may apply (but I doubt it): Is this free or premium Brinkster space? Have verified site path info. Might want to check the choices you've made regarding website vs. forum cookie, and path info.
Good luck...
