Is it possible to configure Moderator queuing?
Meaning, I want selected posts to be sent to the moderator for approval before going live.

for a demo, you can check http://www.magicmushroom.org.uk/forum/ There is a forum wich is moderated.
You can set moderation at category/forum or topic level, and can choose to moderate all posts, original posts, or replies.
