IIS 7, ActiveX, & 32-Bit ASP
11 January 2013, 18:06

Sorry for the multi-topic subject.dead
We have an ActiveX routine which should launch a shellexecute application. It worked fine under 2003 Server but doesn't under 2012. Anyone know if this is a 32-bit issue and, if so, whether there is a fix?

could be permissions/security related

It could be an issue which may be resolved with the solution posted by ruirib in the topic discussed at the link below:

32-Bit is enabled, that's not the answer. Folder & USR/IIS-USR/Network Service, etc. permissions are all correct.

No error message, no response at all. Click the link and it ignores it.
