Just wanted to say thank you for those who work hard for this release. Getting excited for new 3.4.0.7 and looking forward to work on it :)

PS: Nothing feels better than building a Snitz forum from original full clean.

Probably just security patches and bug fixes, isn't it?<

Aye, ofcourse, some performance improvements as well, however, nothing is more sad than finishing your work and bug fixed version came out right after :p

My forum actually based on 3.4.03 and it turned into patched fabric, adding lots of addons or including security/performance fixes and such. From Scratch is the way to go now... <

This go-round there are a few new features. smile
Mostly anti-spam tools, bug fixes, and a few other things to help forum owners administrate their forum. Like always, a full list will be included in the release announcement.<

Now made me wonder, will you save me from Captcha mods additions etc? :)

No CAPTCHA or Gatekeeper MODs were added. Image CAPTCHAs suffer from usability issues, and there was some debate as to if we should add the Gatekeeper MOD. At this point, we're not going to add it to the base code just yet.
There is a pseudo-random field added to the registration form to keep bots from bypassing the form, Jeff's MOD for selecting which fields to require has also been added, the e-mail domain blocking code has been added, and Rui's MOD for preventing people from sending e-mails before they've reached x posts - as defined by the admin. (and can also be overridden by the admin if s/he knows the individual)

With the exception of the extra field on the form, all the MODs can be turned off by the Admin if they so desire.
There are a few cleanup tools that have been added as well - like the "Zap Profile" MOD, and the ability to delete all posts by a given member, etc.
A complete list will be posted when the last round of testing is done. smile<

Good work Anon.
I'm planning to update the Gatekeeper Mod fully right after Snitz 3.4.07 is released. <

Wow I know I haven't gotten back to that mod in a long time as I meant to update it. But I am very thankful that everyone thought it was useful enough to put into the basecode blush
Looking forward to the code as well.<

No fair! I'm still writing new things for 3.4.06 bigsmile I don't really want to think about re-applying all of these things to a new version. Although, to be honest, anything that keeps my brain functioning is welcome. I'll probably jump in with both feet like everyone else.<
