Hi all,
I wish to duplicate and then modify the search.asp to an asp file for me to exchange links with other websites. But I afraid that the modification will cause some problems, so I'd like to seek help so that the exchange link website will not have any potential script issue. For this link exchange asp file, I wish to keep
1.) the logo,
2.) the top right corner:
a.) Forum name,
b.) the entire row " Home | Profile | Register | Active
Topics | Members | Search | FAQ ". c.) member login. 3.) and the footer.
Please let me know what script can be removed from the search.asp? Thanks.

you simply need to include config.asp, inc_header.asp & inc_footer.asp and put the rest between it... nothing more to it. if you look at any of the forum files that use that layout, eg default.asp, topic.asp, post.asp, active.asp you'll notice that they all include those files and have the content between them.<

Thanks for your info. I simply removed all the scripts and left the config.asp, inc_header.asp & inc_footer.asp in my link exchange website, but I had problem to login.

You also need to include inc_sha256.asp. You will also need to include one or more of the inc_func_*.asp files (inc_func-common.asp is already included in inc_header.asp) if you plan on using any of the functions they contain.
