With the plethora of bots used by spamming bastards these days, a neat feature to have added to Snitz would be a CAPTCHA function during the registration process.
(For those that don't know what CAPTCHA is, it's normally where users are asked to prove they are humans by doing a task that is impossible for a computer. The most common form is reading characters from a stylised image.)

This would certainly reduce the number of bouced registration mails that I get because of bots trying to sign-up for the forums with bogus email addresses.
