is there a way, for when i user subscibes to a poll/topic/forum/whole message board for the "subscription alert" to go with a private message instead of with an e-mail?<

wouldn't that rather defeat the point of the subscription ? since subscriptions are there to let you know someone has posted without you having to visit the forum, if it was sent as a PM, you would have to visit the forum to recieve the PM and would therefore see any new posts anyway.<
