Thx Shaggy. These changes result from our attempts to reshake the whole Snitz structure. You'll soon be informed of the result of all our efforts. <

I think we'll inform on the results on the changes on the Dev and Mod's team and the path to make our code move forward. Hopefully we'll do that soon smile.<

make our code move forward.
Do we submit a wish list ? wink<
ruirib
14 September 2005, 07:13

Take it easy laser, Davio will be in charge of that and he'll set the pace and decide if that is required. Wish lists tend to grow outta proportion here, so better be careful about that smile.<

And last time we tried to put one together we lost one of our administrators sad

OK, maybe a Statement of Direction then, a roadmap ?
....or just a comment on what v.4 is going to be - what, where, when, etc.<

Davio will be rebuilding the Dev Team and proceed with that discussion. I'm sure that he'll let us all know about that, as soon as decisions are made regarding those issues.
I know you've heard this many times before, but please be patient. Things are on the move, even if a bit slower than we all could wish, but the pace will speed up now.<

Thank you all. smile
Yes we will be shaking up snitz a bit to get things going. Re-energizing the project and introducing fresh blood into the team. Richard will still be with us, helping out whereever he can. And a most of the mods have decided to stay and help out.
Rui and myself will be looking for potential candidates for the positions of moderators and dev team members, as we try to move forward with the project.
Thank you guys for your support during this time. smile<

Revolutions/Evolutions ! ....
Does anyone else use Mambo ? I find it very interesting that they are just going through some fairly major changes to their dev teams (and other teams) to have forked off to become Joomla!. At the same time a similar revolution/evolution is happening here.
Congrat's to all on your new positions !<

Congrats all on your new assignments. All of you deserve the honours for the great work and support provided here.

Can't wait to see what future brings to Snitz, but patiently wait. No doubt it will be a super product judging from the caliber of teams being assembled.
cheers,

It's great to see the project keeps evolving! Congrats to all concerned and I know it will pay off handsomely.
Now, about the name. I thought the Snitz 2000 was going to be changed. Is now the time to update that also? <

Yep, interesting times at Mambo.
But I don't see any similarities here, after all Davio was a MAJOR contributor to the developement of the current version of Snitz. It's not at all like a dev team packing their bags and moving elsewhere (in Mambo's case with some hard feelings, apparently).

I just wanted to drop in an say congrats to Davio, Shaggy, Marcel, OWM, and the rest. Snitz is surely in good hands, and I know that there is a big, bright future for Snitz.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Huw, Richard, and Rui (BTW, could Rui be the steadiest guy on the entire Internet?? tongue) for their tireless support over the years. Snitz played an important role in my development as a webmaster. smile<
