well, okay, this time i'll reply. you want a mod that adds the smilies to the message with one click. it exists, but i cannot think of the name right now... darn...
anyways, do you use snitz? which version? which DB? try to give us some more info here...

You could add the HotKeys MOD which gives your members 3 customizable buttons which can have any value (including smiles code).
