to run the snitz forum program? I see alot of sorry our site is messed up, were fixing our "server" at the moment(again) type of messages. whats with the server? what all do I need to get a forum up and totally running? anything will help. thanks in advance.

Once more, with clarity...

Where are you seeing these messages?

Is this an existing install that you are having problems with or are you trying to set up a new install?

Other details along these lines would be helpful.

i dont have a forum or anything. i seen that message on <removed by="Shaggy" />......

I want to start a forum but dont know all the "needs" to do so. can i just use my regular computer i got at home? just some basic info for a newbie.

You will need a host that supports ASP and a database as Access, MySQL or SQL Server. You being a newbie, even if your home computer could handle it, it would be strongly disadvised to do it.

So, find a host that supports ASP in Windows server. That's all that's needed.

Yep, don't run it on your home PC against the internet - there's too much to learn for a newcomer
