OK

We setup the SNITZ forum system in our company intranet. Our company has about 1,500 employees. The application works beautifly creating the account and registering the users. Today about 150 hit the site. However, when looking though the member listing I notice two employees appear more then once. Their account is the same however they appear more then once?????????

If it's only for one or two users, it could be some quirk of the way your network is set up - for instance do you have multiple domains?

Or am I misunderstanding?

your understanding correctly

I believe we only have one domain.....

However it's possible

I think this might be realted to the fact that I have to set the cookie to Forum. If I don't do that and someone logs into the forum for the first time snitz lopes continuouslly creating multiple accounts until the browers times out. Setting cookie to forum seemed to fix this???? I never got an answer as to why this fixed it???

Hmmm maybe the cookie is persisting an ID that doesn't rightly exist in the same context or something...

If you find a cure with the different cookie modes, then stick with it - you could try asking the few affected users to delete their cookie and clear their browser cache, see if that helps.
