I don't know if this exists already if so send me the link! I am in desperate need of this mod!
Scenario -
World of Warcraft Forum. We have Guests, Members and Moderators. Guests can't view Member only material and Members can't view Moderator material. We have over 160 members and to make a forum (Allowed Members Only Hidden) I have to manually drag each member over. It is becoming a pain especially since Allowed Members List isn't sorted.
What I want -
I want a mod that creates groups. Such as:
Group 1 - Person A, Person C, Person D, Person S-Z (Members)
Group 2 - Person B, Person L-R (Moderators)
When I make the Allowed Members Only Hidden forum, I want to be able to Select Group 1 instead of searching for the members. Then if new members are added, I can add them in the Admin Options easily in one spot instead of endless spots.
I hope it makes sense.
I appreciate any feedback on this.

Pretty sure that the User Groups MOD will do what you need. It's a pain to set up originally, but after that it's a breeze. Here is the link (don't know where I got it originally, so I put it up on my site):

Here is a picture of what it looks like when you created (or edit a forum). You would add your users to user groups, and then give the groups permissions.

This mod installed very well and it was easy.
I was wondering if there is a addon for this mod with Private messages. Such as moderators can send announcements to all people in a certain usergroup. |
