The problem occurs when trying to parse a link like this:
http://216.239.59.104/search?q=cache:Ig5pDaZoWeMJ:www.cu2.nl/browse.php%3Fid%3D2685714+wauske&hl=nl
I noticed this some time ago already, but I thought it was something that I messed up myself at oxle, but it seems that the base code also has this problem....
Is there a way to 'fix' this ? |

Mmm...too bad.
Isn't it possible to check for the presence of any text (except spaces) before http:// or www. before converting that piece of text to an url ?

| yes, but would create as much confusion if not more, and put a lot of strain on the forum, string parsing is not something that asp is very efficient at. |

Too bad this doesn't work with Snitz. Lot's of people post links to google-cache-sites...and those links simply don't work....
