does anyone have any ideas what could cause these errors?

It's a server error. If you have your own server try a restart or if you have installed anything new make sure it is installed properly.

If you don't have that kind of access to the server, call the company/person who controls the server and *** up a storm

i do not have that access to the server. I have several sites on that server and all the other sites are working fine using the same database driver. It is the connection string line causing the error, but it is the same sting that is being used on the same server but a different site.

the problem only occurs when there is more than 1 record set on the page.
