delete the .ldb file in the same directory that the database is in.

my db is in my cgi-bin, should I delete all other .mdb files in thta directory, or any specific one?

no, just files that have .ldb, don't worry about the .mdb files.

And don't delete the .mdb files, either, unless you want to erase your database(s). The .ldb file is a user lock file for the .mdb file of the same name. You can safely delete it, although on a running webserver with active users you should wait for a quiet time.
