I keep trying to figure out this poll mod but keep finding small problems with it. If I have a featured poll on the default page and someone clicks to view the results, it does not go to the results. Instead it goes to the poll page within the topic. It seems to leave the following out of the URL: &results=1

For example, clicking on the view results button should take the user to:

...topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=108&results=1

Mine takes them to:

...topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=108

Ideas?

I've looked over and over again in the inc_poll.asp page but for the life of me can not figure it out. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hmm. Not sure about this one. Let me ask you some questions:
1. Do you have the featured poll set to open in a new window?
2. Is this a members only poll?
3. Is this AFTER the member has voted or before?

I ask this because after you have voted in the featured poll, when you go back to default.asp it is supposed to show you the results, not give you a link to go see the results.

And, when go to a poll in a topic, the page detects if the member has voted in the poll yet, regardless if &results=1 is in the url. If they have, it will show the results. If they haven't, it will show the poll.

To answer your quesions:

1. The featured poll in question is not set to open in a new window.
2. It is a members only poll (I haven't tested it yet with an everyone poll).
3. This is before anyone votes.

When you see the poll and click on view results, it does not take you to the results page. It just takes you to the poll page within the topic. You can see for yourself here. If you want to log in you can use demo, demo.

Yes, again you are correct. Now if only you could bug test my other mods, too. What's your hourly rate?

I'm not at my development computer right now, so can't give you the fix for it yet. Will post it later.

I'm starting to feel like a real bother, but I have yet again found another bug, though it is very minor...

I've noticed that if I use an apostrophe in one of my choices, it automatically places two apostrophes.

Example:

If I want a choice to say Didn't it will appear as Didn''t. What is causing the extra apostrophe?
