I know this has probably been asked 1000 times, and even though I have installed a Snitz Board before, I am having trouble with this new install with the new version.

I followed all the directions.....

strDBType = "access
strConnString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & Server.MapPath("/forum/fpdb/snitz_forums_2000.mdb") '## MS Access 2000 using virtual path

but all i get when i run setup.asp is:

The database could not be opened !!
Check your config.asp file and set the
strConnString so it points to the database.
Also check if strDBType is set to the right databasetype.

Code : 80004005

Not sure why? I looked at the other forum i put up and its config file, and it is set up in the same way on the same server. Any ideas? The forum is located at http://www.kamikazeshots.com/forum

Thanks....

Well it's good to see you put the info available here to good use. However, we are usually very understanding even with repeated questions. At the very least, you'll always get a search hint to find what you need, in case you ask a very common one .

It looks for the Snitz database and tells the path to the db relativ to where whereami.asp resides.
